Looking for Volunteers

Friday June 24th, 2011.

We are looking for people who are able to volunteer long term.

Thanks to the support we have received from everyone, our organization’s activities are now on track. In order to keep these activities running smoothly, we are in need of the following assistance.

・People available one or more days a week and able to continue participation long term.

・People to put on various small events for us on a regular basis, without compensation.

※Our organization is unable to manage arrangements for lodging, administrative requests, mediate with event facilities or perform event publicity. We would appreciate having someone hold events as part of our “Ishinomaki Children’s Refuge Center” activities.

In order to optimize shifts and reduce the burden of management, we must respectfully decline any short term volunteers at this time. Please understand our position on this.

Also, we highly encourage the adoption of “Volunteer activity insurance” to reduce risk from damages, or injuries incurred traveling to and from or during participation in activities.

○Insurance premium : From 280 Yen

○Effective period : Valid through next March 31st (Also applies to volunteer activities outside of our organization)

○Where to apply : At the Council of Social Welfare in selected cities in each prefecture.

※Same day applications are accepted at the Ishinomaki Volunteer Center.

Please download and read the following PDF for insurance coverage and compensation details.

We ask all prospective volunteers to please contact us via mail.

We look forward to your cooperation.
