Today we held our activity in the classroom at Akebono.

– Akebono classroom (Narumin’s report) –

Inside the kids crafted with cardboard and wood. Some of them tried to put together pieces of wood as long as they would go, others had a battle with cardboard weapons they made themselves.

The Pythagorean pinball game used wood and newspaper. During it’s construction the kids tried to figure out how to get the marble to roll the longest distance possible to reach its target.

Outside most of them played ball, but a few played “Burst the water-balloon thrown from inside.” It was such good weather it seemed getting wet didn’t bother them and they had a lot of fun.

Finally, everyone cleaned up all the wood, cardboard, marbles and water-balloon pieces and in no time our activity had ended.

The number of children today was less than usual but we were all able to spend some meaningful time together.
