Nijiiro On The Road, In Yamaguchi

February 13th, 2012

After we departed from Kyoto, we traveled to Yamaguchi Prefecture to visit ‘Senryu Temple Daycare’.

-Macchan’s report-

Today Onchan-Shisho, Sayabo and I went to observe Senryu Temple Daycare in Yamaguchi Prefecture.

As the name implies, this daycare is located next to the Senryu Temple.  It caters towards kids aged 1 to 6 years old and is blessed with a very warm and relaxed atmosphere.

The children are at ease in their environment and are surrounded by plenty of teachers  as well as the headmaster.  Although this was our first visit, the children welcomed us with all-out smiles and played with us.

While our experience with the kids at the daycare was different from the time we spend with the kids of Nijiiro Crayons, you notice similarities in their ‘healthy upbringing’.  I hope to learn a lot from these exchanges.
