Lots of hearts

September 2nd, 2012

– Nisshi’s report –

Today, two children and two adult volunteers played together for about two hours. As a game, we put a small ball into a plastic bottle filled with water. Then we sprinkled the water and tried to find the small ball. It was very difficult to find it!

She is looking. Where is it?

We sprinkled the water in a heart shape. Then we also enjoyed splashing water. We pushed in the surface of a balance ball and made a dent, then put water in the dent and gave it a shove, so the water splashed over.  It was fun to see how the water splashed and flowed over, so we repeated it again and again.

We enjoyed it very much and I saw the children smile a lot. We also carried the children in our arms and whirled around. Did you like it, kids? It must have been full of thrills!

After that, we had to end the activity as it started raining.  It was lucky we played a lot outside during the good weather.

Today’s volunteers were Hide and Nisshi.
