Hanging Dreams On Our Dream Tree

December 18th, 2012

Hoka-chan’s report

Today’s activity took place at Hibiki Industrial Park. We spent the day working on preparations and such for our Christmas party next week.

In order to practice decorating cookies we bought plain cookies at the store and put our own pictures on them. We drew faces with chocolate icing, piled almonds and chocolates on them and stacked them like cakes, and created a lot of cute cookies.

Next week everyone will help make them once the dough is spread out.  I hope they turn out delicious.

We also finished “Our Dream Tree”. The tree was drawn onto a large sheet of paper and we hung sketches of our dreams on it. Everyone was excited about how wonderful this tree turned out.

The middle school team played the card game Daifugo!  While the battle heated up a roll-up piano medley performance could be heard in the background.

Next week is our much anticipated Christmas party. The program includes, cookie making, games, and even short plays!  There’s a whole bunch of stuff planned. 🙂 I hope it’s a fun Christmas for everyone!!

Today’s volunteers were Onchan, Boo-chan, Pon-chan, Leo-kun, Honamin, and Hoka-chan.
